I have been some sort of artist since I could wield a crayon as a precocious tyke. I've worked for 50 years as a graphic and fine artist, but I fell in love with digital art when I had the first of three thumb joint replacement surgeries. With my hands in casts for three summers in a row, the urge for creative expression overpowered. I quickly discovered that I could push the mouse around and click without much pain, and digital collage emerged. Thank you so much for the lovely compliment. Long before I was a digital fine artist, I did many other forms of art. When I lost the use of my thumbs for three years in a row to thumb joint replacement surgery, I needed to find a way to create...and I discovered quickly that I could still shove the mouse around and click, even with my hand in a cast! Like any other artist,I practice, practice, practice!
